Psychiatric evidence established the appellant suffers from schizophrenia and personality disorder, is unsuitable for probation or community management and presents a high risk of reoffending; therefore a compulsory inpatient hospital order at the maximum recommended period of six months at Siu Lam Psychiatric Centre was appropriate and not manifestly excessive, and the appeal against sentence was dismissed.
