Because fresh circumstances (the Appellant's recent marriage and planned emigration) were presented on appeal and would render the suspended sentences unduly burdensome, the appellate court set aside the suspended sentences and allowed the appeal to that extent while leaving punishment by way of fines and the court appearance intact.
