The Court held that the Attorney General/Crown may, in the public interest, make immunity bargains and that evidence elicited thereby is admissible if relevant; the trial judge did not err in admitting and carefully weighing the heavily tainted accomplice evidence and was entitled to prefer the witnesses and find the prosecution proved the offences beyond reasonable doubt, so the convictions were safe and the appeal was dismissed.
