Section 8(8A) of the Lands Tribunal Ordinance confers jurisdiction on the Lands Tribunal to determine claims transferred to it under section 7 of the Small Claims Tribunal Ordinance; that jurisdiction is not negated by the person-specific competence provisions in s45(4) of the Building Management Ordinance. Accordingly the Tribunal had jurisdiction to entertain these transferred claims and the respondents' strike-out application was dismissed.
