Even excluding the inadmissible slips and list found in Miss Cheung's handbag, the unchallenged eyewitness testimony, admissions by the 1st applicant, surveillance, tenancy, multiple telephones and the incriminatory notebooks and diary entries collectively proved beyond reasonable doubt that the 1st applicant kept a vice establishment; however the evidence against the 2nd applicant did not establish persistent user and his conviction for keeping a vice establishment was unsafe and was quashed.
