Convictions were upheld because the evidence established beyond reasonable doubt that GCCL did not exist and therefore all documents purporting transactions with GCCL were false; there was no unfair change in the prosecution case; and the control and concealment of substantial funds through accounts under Wong Chun-ping established objectively reasonable grounds and subjective awareness that the funds were proceeds of an indictable offence, permitting convictions for money laundering.
