    At interlocutory stage the judge correctly applied the broad brush approach, concluded there was sufficient evidence that the husband had access to financial resources (KCC assistance and liquid assets) to justify HK$350,000 per month for litigation funding and that the husband’s grounds challenging quantum and period were unmeritorious; leave to appeal was refused because there was no reasonable prospect of success and no special reason to depart from leaving substantive challenges to ancillary relief, therefore the summons for leave was dismissed and costs ordered.
