Section 66A of the ARIE 2003 is unconstitutional and void because it purports to confer judicial review powers — an aspect of judicial power vested exclusively in the Civil Superior Courts under Articles 4 and 121 of the Federal Constitution — on the Syariah High Court, thereby exceeding the State Legislature's competence under Item 1 of the Ninth Schedule.
