Breach of the mandatory supervision condition (failure to attend AADK rehabilitation programmes) was proven, AADK made reasonable efforts to secure compliance, accused's mitigation did not outweigh the seriousness and public interest in deterrence; therefore a custodial sentence of seven months commencing from date of arrest was appropriate and within statutory limits.
