Applying R v Fatu banding to mid‑level dealing of some 127.4g of methamphetamine, a starting point of 5.5 years was appropriate; add four months uplift for the cannabis supply and six months uplift for prior methamphetamine dealing, then discount six months for personal mitigation and just over 20% for the guilty plea, resulting in concurrent sentences of 4 years 6 months' imprisonment for the methamphetamine charges and 1 year imprisonment for the cannabis charge, together with forfeiture and destruction orders.
