Appeal dismissed: the deportation was ordered by a Brazilian court of competent jurisdiction and, on the evidence, New Zealand authorities did not procure or connive in an unlawful rendition nor act in bad faith; absent tested oral evidence the Court would not infer impropriety; the appellant failed to establish abuse of process of such gravity as to affront the public conscience; convictions therefore stand.
