The Court exercised its discretion under s 292(2) to grant an interim suppression order because it could not exclude the possibility the Supreme Court would grant leave on the formulated issues; the court cannot impose additional timing conditions that would conflict with the statutory duration set out in s 292(3); the suppression extends to name, address, occupation and identifying particulars and details of earlier offending until the statutory events occur, but does not prevent publication that the Crown seeks or the judge imposes or declines preventive detention.
