The respondent's appellate judgment (Allan J) altered the property regime so no creditor-debtor relationship existed that could support a cross-claim under s17; the time for asserting a cross-claim was extended until the set-aside applications were determined (by which time the appellate judgment had been delivered); defects in the certificates and annexed documents were technical, caused no prejudice, and were cured by s418, so the bankruptcy notices remained valid; the review application therefore failed.
