On the balance of probabilities the appellant failed to prove his current incapacity was caused by a work-related gradual process and not substantially or wholly by the ageing process; medical evidence favoring pre-existing degenerative change that was merely aggravated carried decisive weight; accordingly the Corporation's revocation of deemed cover was lawful and the appeal is dismissed.
