Video evidence (P1) corroborated prosecution witnesses and undermined appellant's theories of accidental contact and lawful self-defence; the arresting officer acted within duty and not with excessive force on the evidence; deficiencies in defence evidence and credibility attacks were insufficient to create reasonable doubt; therefore convictions for two counts of assaulting police officers are safe and the five-week custodial sentence is not manifestly excessive given deterrence requirements.
